would they not mess up the brake balance? 8 pots on front and only 2 on the rear? not sure if my wheels would clear them

the rotas should clear their not that wide...don't know about the balance sure you can just buy a new set of rears for about 600 you have a full set for little more than a set of brembos...and you won't need a mounting bracket like you will with the brembos...to be honest with ya I don't think the brembos are a massive upgrade from standard 4 pots ..probably break better after a lot of use but actual stopping power not any difference i could tell... those k sports pop your eyeballs out..brembos are probably better quailty but ..not trying to sell ya on k sports mind just think 1200 is a lot for brembos and then postage etc..you could do better imo.

only two pots on min at the minute.

Came across these though:

from uk so should work out cheaper, brand new with discs and pads :)

I'm running brembo's with godspeed disks and carbon lorraine pads and I think i'd struggle to find anything better for the money. The carbon lorraine pads bite in and nearly put you through the windscreen, unbelievable stopping power..

I do think you are looking at seriously over inflated prices for brembo's on the net. I got front and rear calipers, disks and pads along with 2 newage hubs and 2 driveshafts for €950 nearly a year ago. I'd ring froggy and see if he has a set of brembo's there, he more than likely does or will get some in soon

Same with myself. I just sent him an email telling him what i was looking for and the thread patterns etc and he got back to me a couple of days later saying he had a few sets in stock. Don't think they update the website too often.

thread patterns? What thread patterns do i need to check? US legacy guys say brembo calipers from 05/06 sti should fit my shape Legacy no bother on the front, with a bit of work needed on the rear? What are the size of the discs that usually come with the Brembo's? My standard ones are 315mm x 30mm thick

Sorry meant to say bolt pattern, 5x100 etc. Brembos are 330mm IIRC not sure of depth but they hit my wheels at that nd i need to get spacers.

Dan also if you want to help with the braking get your arse onto nengun and get a brake master cylinder stopper, only bout 40yoyo's,it'll stop the bulkhead from flexing as you brake and give you better feel in the pedal

Cheers, can anyone else confirm 100% the size of the standard discs that come with Brembo's? think my bolt pattern is 5 x 100 too
