Bought a jap classic wrx of a mate for spares and parts for me own. The car is sweet apart from the engine knocking. This has happened to a honda I had few years back and heard is the end of a honda engine but from reading a bit about the subaru blocks I see people replacing big end bearings.
Is it worth while replacing the bearings if possible or just drop in another block?
Had a nose on the net and there not handy to find but how much am I looking at for a decent block?
