Well another insurance thread again. :wall:

Been with chill the past few years and just went with the quotes they send me as they were decent.

This time around and in the door comes 2000+ with aviva. :cuckoo:

So rang them and they said no one is insuring impreza now.

Got it down to 1600 with my house insurance but not good either.

So who has got a decent quote lately and with who also.

I'm 30 in March with 9 years ncb.

Checked everyone and got these two quotes

Britton 1375

Xs direct 1050

Both with 3000 compulsory excess.

Mine was up €300 this year from 2012, and up for renewal in feb 2014, not looking forward to it , full no claims and same age as you.
They just don't want them

That's shocking money to be quoted and your age an no claims. I rang around the last time I got renewal and most places wouldn't quote an sti

Axa rang me this evening and told me there criteria on a impreza is 30 years old and 5 years ncb.

Have to ring them back tomorrow as I am 30 in March and they said they should be able to do something in my case.

Insured an FSTi for €470 Fully Comp (123.ie)

Foresters seem to be a lot cheaper than Impreza's in South

Was quoted £1400 Stg in the North for FSTi....loopy money

This brings up the whole ''just goes to show they pull these quotes from there holes'' :icon_twisted:
Axa told me they don't insure Subaru's...of any kind!!

Rand first Ireland and quoted me 1100euro on 2001 impreza wrx and 440euro on Legacy B4.Both quotes are fully comp for 29year old with one small claim

Also try the AA... they are underwritten by AXA and still are substantially cheaper - difference on my last renewal between AXA direct and through AA was 400, even though I was with AXA for past 7 years.

Mad fooks if ya ask me
It's pot luck
But in saying that Aaron have always been good
Think I pay 195 on the 106 gti and they brought over my NBC from the Subaru to the 106

Yeah aa, aig, liberty, etc.wouldn't touch me and referred me to others who underwrite them.

Axa (credit union discount) is the online discount so you can't get it if you got your quote online I was told.
