insurance up for renewal got my quote which is 2011eur up from 800eur last year no claims no penalty points full licence full no claims bonus.Has anyboby else had trouble with their insurance or is it just me :new_puppy_dog_eyes: :icon_hang: :wall:

Got my renewal from AA lst month, 1005 euro fully comp for an 05 sti, keep shopin around mate! :thumbsup:
 
Mine is up too, but only €160 so it is €694 this time. I'm only driving an Rx and am on the wrong side of 35 :icon_grin: so it's dear enough.

Just tried 123.ie and I couldn't get a quote. I edited it to have a 1.2 opel corsa and they quoted me €388 fully comp.
Is that not a bit mental at my age that they won't quote me for a n/a subaru? I don't have points or penalties and have full no claims bonus.
 
mine is up for renewal on tuesday and just got a quote of 682 with herself on it too. down from 1300 from last year! going from firstireland to 123.ie, i think ill be taking that quote unless i get a better one in the mean time

nearly 700 on an rx ? thats not right , mine was 550 ish when i had mine for fully comp , and even now the sti is not the full 700 and im 27

I've the car valued at €8k so I don't know why it's that expensive really. Having said that, the policy does allow me to make two claims in three years and not lose my ncb, so maybe that is what it is........

btw, i'd have to pay €388 to insure the corsa for fully comp. That's nearly worse.

EDIT: Just tried Allianz online and for a policy a bit less, I can get it for €535. I'm currently with Allianz but through a broker.

got mine for 690 euro fully comp yesterday with 123.ie on the Legacy with 3 years NCB and crash in the last 5 years, not bad, down from the First Ireland renewal of 1360 they sent me out. jokers. I think with First Ireland, once they get you money the first year they don't bother their hole trying to get you a more competitive quote the following years. Well worth shopping around lads
 
123 seems to pretty good on quotes. The misses driving a legacy b4 and was area e460 last year quinn fully comp. This year quote was e960. 123 quoted e480. i got her a 04 forester xt turbo last week and 123 was e490 fully comp incl windscreen cover and break down cover and also no claims protection.

My father was paying e390 with quinn on 1.8primera.

I got him a 03legacy n/a 2.0gl and 123 quoted e250 fully comp etc.

Nah 123 used to be good for younger drivers aswell but for new business they're keeping closer to older drivers. A chap I went to school with got insured on his S3 which was re-mapped to a proven 225bhp with them. He only paid €2,000 fully comp when he was 20 with 2 years NCB.

got 2 quotes for ya, if your misses has full lic with her as named driver wtih partner discount e848.09, insured only driver €1344.53... :icon_headbang:
