Insurance companies

I was wondering is there any particular insurance companies good for insuring Impreza wrx's etc.. I don't have a subaru yet but I want to research the insurance side of things. I am 30 with 8 years NCB so I am hoping for a reasonable quote but with the way companies operate they could quote any random price.

I'm 32 with similar ncb and was quoted €730 for prodrive bug sti impreza. I'd imagine you'd be similar.

I'm a similar situation, 31, about 8 years NCB, insured on an 04 Sti for €550.
Best bet I find is to just ring and transfer insurance as some companies still shy away from insuring sti's.

Well the insurance prices don't seem too bad based on what ye are saying. I have an S2000 that I will transfer the insurance from once I take the plunge and buy an impreza.

Feck that, I'm paying well over the odds, was quoted 416 euro when I was looking at buying Sean's B4, but the car I bought is identical
(2.0 litre B4 twin turbo) and cheapest quote I could get was 914 euro, and this is in my wife's name (41 year old female with 6 years no claims)

im hoping when i turn 25 in july ill get a little more hope with an impreza

that remains to be seen though

Doubt it-they tell you when youre 21 that you can when youre 25 but when you get to 25 they revise that to 30.

I'm 21 with a 4 year NCB on a twin-turbi B4

Renewal quote came in today for €820 with Liberty fully comp

Made my Xmas holidays anyway

thats nuts

im 24 with the same NCB same car, and my renewal from them in september went UP to 1300 or something retarded

cheapest if could five was Aviva and 980 or something

:ponder2: :ponder2:

The b4's arent loaded anyway near what the impreza's are...im 32 with 13 years NCB and im paying €460 fully comp with full NCB protection with Aviva

That's what i was told, such bull. When ya ring when your 30 they prob say 40.

Couldn't get normal quotes anywhere.
Arb and xs direct where 2000 insurance and 3000 excess which is crazy for an insurance disc. :cuckoo:

Transfer over only way. Purchased and sitting in driveway. Go into insurance office.
Feb this year
26 with 8year NCB.
Quinn transferred over from avensis.
1300 full comp.

Now
27 with 9 NCB
Down to 800 full comp :653:
Prob be 750 if i didn't do direct debit.

Blob WRX.

yea totally agree the only way is transfer, as ive been doing this couple of years, and id two imprezas when was 20 and 21 and was paying 1500 tpf&twith liberty with full licence since 17, id even had a 318is wen 19 at 1900 tpf&t, as ive found insurance companies cannot refuse to insure ur new vehicle once you have the policy out, its a loop hole that cannot be changed!
