Insurance for Girlfriend

Yep showed her the Puma. She likes it but over budget :icon_sad:

A few silver ones within budget but she isn't keen on silver.

Insurance around €1000 too
 
Budget and insurance means its coming down to a Opel/Vauxhall Tigra or Ford Puma.

try and see if she will go for silver it was the strongest colour in them IMO

coupes have a higher insurance

Yes looked at Audi A3 but insurance too much at nearly €1500 for the 1.6.

She is trying to get car and insurance for €2000 (highly unlikely). I told her its not possible but Im just being too negative and not being "supportive" enough :icon_biggrin:
 
Puma are nice but very unreliable..gearboxs especially...1.6 Hyundai coupe? cant be that much to insure...
 
puma is a great little car ,and as for gearboxs :shock2: im workin on pumas since they were released and have never fitted and never heard of one being fitted unless the car was abused,they have the same gearbox as fiesta ,focus,ka,courier,escort the list is long,its an ib5 box and very reliable, the puma is a very reliable car only issues are water pump leaks and coil packs and plug leads also watch for rust on the sills in early ones .it is twice the car of a hyundai or opel
 
Still on the look out for a nice Puma lads. Either get no replies from adds or questions I asked are not answered. Terribly frustrating when people can't put a half decent add together to sell a car.
 
No chance of a Celica as can't get a quote. Hyundai Coupe is 1.6 so too expensive on road tax sand because Coupe insurance too expensive.

has to 1.4L or under.

Settled on a Puma now I think. Just have to find a nice one.
 
Yep Corolla hatch was on my list too but she "doesn't like the look of it".
 
Got sorted today.

Picked up a '00 Ford Puma. 1.4litre. Black. Insurance €490 for both of us Fully Comp.

Just what she wanted. :thumbsup:

Yes well pleased with the quote. It was €980 on her own but when added me as name driver it dropped to €490.
