Insurance Gone Down !!!

Lads, I got the dreaded insurance renewal in the post today and to my surprise when I opened it my quote is Cheaper than last year by approx 125 quid ! As ive said on a few posts here before im with chill insurance brokers and for fully comp on a 03 wrx with bonus protection and all the bells and whistles = €490 !!! Im still in shock :multijump:
 
That's a great price, I'm €550 third party fire and theft on an sti! If it goes down next year I may try fully comp too!
 
Nice for some :thumbsup: , my insurance want to charge me more on a kia 1.6 petrol than I used to pay on my old B4... Fooking ridiculous :angry1:

I'm with liberty Robbie (Quinn direct) have been for years. People complain but I've years of no complaints with them. Only went up about €75 from the B4 to the STi and I fully expected it to double!!
 
Thats very good i renewed with 123 the other day was 600 last year but new quote was 470 but added full no claims protection and its now 510 was paying 1100 with quinn 2 years ago so well happy with the price :thumbsup:
 
Got my renewal last month too... And it's gone down another 120 odd quid... That's two years running too!! IIRC it's just slightly over the 500 mark now :) and with Liberty too.

It may have to do with our change of address as we're in a more remote area and out of an estate that was renowned for getting hit regularly by robbing scum.
 
Was with liberty for past 4 years on the subaru.Last year was €560 fully comp.Subaru garaged since april and driving 01 1.5
almera now.Shocked is not the word when i got renewal for almera in september €540.....
Yes €20 down on impreza.Rang them straight away and gave them a few of the main differences between the two cars but to no
avail,€490 was the BEST they could do.Told them to shove it anyway,with allianz now on almera for €280 fc.Really think insurance
is a pure lottery. :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

??? Thats interesting because I was with 123 up until i bought the impreza and they said that their underwriters wouldnt insure a "sports car".. Had major row with them over it and went to chill.ie :new_argue:

The legacy is not classed as a sports car id say if i rang about an impreza id be told were to go
This is my second year with them and they are grand with it.
The chap i spoke with last week offered me the full no claims protection for an extra 40 which is great as i only have 6 years ncb so would drop back to 4 if anything happened.
The miss is with chill and had a crash last year she had 10 years ncb but on renewal they docked her two years and said they couldnt insure her again as they only use 5 year ncb on policys.
Only reason they re insured her was because her new quote was posted by mistake.
She done well because her new qoute was cheaper than before she claimed :multijump:
 
Wow tats a good price you got. My insurance was up last month and got it for 500 euro full comprehensive and protective bonus and Im with axa so was happy with that.
 
Chill rang back today to see if i was going with the original qoute of 490. Bluffed em and said that i got a cheaper quote from axa for 450. Asked them could they match it and after a bit of twoing and frowing and putting me on hold for a few minutes ( didnt care cos they rang me ) they said yes they could do it for 450 !!! :multijump:
