Would any of ye think of getting yer misses to insure the scoobys and ye insure there little cars.
It works out a lot cheaper for me.
The reason i would'nt do that is the other half never drives my car, and i wouldnt want to be driving around all the time on 3rd party cover
but in saying that im sure all my " STANDARD " mods which i kind of forget about at renewel time, might be a problem if i have an accident,
touch wood that dose'nt happen :hammerhead:

ive been ringing the last couple of weeks for quotes, and those who did quote me were coming back with nothing better than about €950,
it was €700 comp with kenco for the year just gone, got a renewel quote yesterday from my broker, €1249 from kenco apparntley they had there

groupings mixed up last year, the reason for the big increase, there was also another quote from axa for €860, so i taught i might get a good
quote from o leary's as mentioned at the top considering im 31 with 7yrs ncb, and full licence for 6yrs, so i gave them a bell after seeing this,

they got back with €998 comp from axa, and as you may or may not, i said well i know a guy that got a quote from yourselves today 27yrs :icon_blahblah:
and long story short i was told that the car had not been disclosed as an sti model only a standard wrx, sorry if i put my foot in it dude but i took your details at
the top to be correct :dontknow: wrightway would not quote me, the guy said its probably because im in dublin

Maybe Aaron should make a phone call to confirm his details with them. Quote was too good to be true.

:icon_omg: :icon_omg: Thats a great price Mark,

I will defo be going looking around before now in may..if i got anywhere near that i would be over the moon :xmas_cheers:

just done my own renewal today,
123.ie who got my last insurance wanted an extra €150 on top of what i was paying which was €830 fully comp bringing it up to €980. i have an extra 2 penalty points to be added and the guy i rang to ask why has policy gone up said the extra points would increase it more again anyway.
so i shopped around today and best quote i could get was for €790, again fully comp.
chanced my arm and added an extra driver on the policy ( the wife ) and it dropped by a further €100 bringing it down to €690 all in
i have changed insurance companies from one to another every year over the past 8 years as i find that they add a ridiculous amount on to your policy come renewal time each year and up to now i have always found a company that is much lower on price than my previous insurance company , and as long as i shop around at renewal time every year and find a cheaper quote ill continue to change every time . they just seem to pull a ridiculous renewal figure from their backsides every year. i have no doubt ill be with another insurance company again next year but its worth the couple of hours of searching online for me anyway.

cheers lads

makes you wonder what a brokers job is!!!!
to get you the best quotes but yet you can make few calls yourself and nearly always better their renewal costs!!!
:angry1: :angry1:
