I wasnt an existing customer with Quinn and they quoted me 1800 on the RA, I'm only 21

Mine was the same when I got my Impreza. I had a policy with Quinn on the Glanza and when I bought the impreza I just switched it and it went up to about 1800. When when it got to renewal time it went up to 2800! :(

I'm 20. 2 years NCB, full license the last year.... Hopefully its not the case for you mate...

Regards,
Stephen

I have my Legacy insured with Quinn too, and every time I renew the insurance the quote goes up. So every time I get a fresh online quote, which is always a lot less, and get them to insure me for that figure. Bunch of chancers!

there is no way your are insured on a Sti RA for that money at 21 with 2 years no claims
Quinn WILL NOT quote you on ANY Impreza turbo if you are not a customer and even if you are a customer they will generally say no if you enquire about one. You generally have to tell them you have bought the car and sometimes they will ask you to show proof of purchase.....

Thats true, Quinn are very Dodgy - Great when you are starting off and dont have the cash but they are cowboys and thats why I left them to move to axa, they were cheaper to insure me on most stuff.

Subaru seems to cause alarms to go off when getting quotes

I agree, plus the likes of no claims protection , wind screen cover etc are all extras even on fully comp. I was with Quinn for a few years and glad to be away from them. If you do ever have to make a claim from them I reckon you will have a battle on your hands.
