Insurance price

Just got my insurance quote for this year went from 700 up to 945 thats nearly a third more what the hell is going on with them.
I am with the AA when i rang them so that they could have a look at it , they said that was there best price .
Going to have look around iam not going to pay that,rant finished.

give them a bollocking and tell them you got a quote elsewhere for €xxx and if they match it you'll stay cos you dont want the hassle of moving but you will if they dont take care of your business. 70% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

had same problem with my renewal ,

Currently with ONE direct , Started a policy with them last year , 700 fully comp
, Renewal for same this year a full on, 1150 ,total bollox

Tried several com,panies over last few weeks and Tesco are cheapest @ 570 fully comp

Both policies underwritten by Hibernian

Rang One direct and enquired why the premium went up , No answer

Put the girlfriend on it and they put it down to 750 insurance is a scam , 100% scam

Try Europlan on the green - you'll probably end up with AXA again but it'll be a new policy and should attract a good price.

Pay outs on claims are much less basically in the uk ,

Personally i do shop around if my insurance goes up,
but having a scooby has now reduced the amount of
insurance companys that will even quote, its a shame
really theres no compotition, my insurance came down €100
this year to 700 comp but thats the best i could do :lol:

Checked 123.ie got for 30 cheaper went back to alliance (i think) and they matched
