Hello Ash,

I was on a company policy for the last 12 years....... & went private in Nov of last year

It was over €3.5K for my "first", policy

Total Rip off........ only one insurance company would touch me, apart from them €4k excess policies.....

Which IMO Only give you a slip of paper to put in your winscreen......

On a good note, I know my policy will be halved this year

Cheers,

Michael
PS If you do a search for Insurance in this forum, loads of topics will come up

Got my renewal today, 723e fully comp through AA (think axa underwrites) but I'm 31 and full no claims.

I was paying 980 on a 03 sti 31 with full no claims but the told me it will go up a good bit cause of the 2.5 engine in the new STi

Hi Ash :D
Not too sure about this lot...very high excess which for me seemed to defeat the purpose...I'm female also and insured with AXA for just over 1k, that's with other half on insurance which I don't think is too bad, that's fully comp too

Ouch, i switched my existing policy over to the scooby which is probably the only reason they insured me.

Was with Hibernian for 5 years with 4 different Scoobies an they would only cover me TPFT on this one as it was a " performance car " :dunno: I was like hello there same car!!! Apparently it was because it was badged WRX and the others weren't ( imports ) so I told em to fook off an cancelled house and car insurance with them :D
