insurance problems!

hey just wondering can anyone recommend some insurance companys or brokers.rang 2 places today to be told they dont insure anything with the letters wrx!country is backwards.any help would be appreciated

alright bud. 94 wrx and i am with Britton insurance 1100 fully comp age 27 3years ncb and 4 points not to bad i think anyway. they have a web page and will call you back with quote to.

Yeah britton are about the best,you might have a 4k excess but it will get you on the road.
Insured with quinn direct now and its cheaper than the bloody tax

easiest solution is to have a policy on an easy insured car and then transfer during your policy. thats what i done. with quinn, insured now on sti for €700.

123 are great for taking named driving experience as equal to ncb.

But as sligo_dave said, if they won't quote you your best bet is take out a policy on another car then transfer the policy.

thanks lads ill try those places now today and see if i get anywhere.the only thing id be worried about transferring the policy over is when renewal time comes round and even if they are obliged to quote you theyll probably quote you something ridiculous!?

if you transfer mid policy and you are insured, they have to give you a renewal quote. and although its possible that the price could increase, it cant be excessively. i think its something like if they charge you a price that can be deemed as the equivalent to refusas, which is illegal and insurance federation can punish company and ensure you get treated fairly. if price goes up it has to be proven by insurance company that its justified, ie all policys increasing at equal level so not being descriminating against any individual.

youre better ringing insurance companies instead of geting quotes online,most online quotes wont cover high performance cars because insurance companies would rather speak to the person getting insured so they know who they are going to insure,
try arb insurance.

Well lads only 21 3yrs ncb got insured with a crowd called Campion and Sparrow broker crowd in portlaoise for 1300 euro fully comp with windscreen cover breakdown assit and good few other tings im with hibernan avia sorry about spelling and its a 95wrx aswell
