Hey bugeye John, very seldom I'm around Clonmel. I'm living down near Adare in limerick now. But originally from Killenaule. That's how I ended up with Axa in Clonmel....

Yeah its ridiculous - i mean how many WRXs or STIs are involved in massive claims in this country every year compared to common Fords or Toyotas etc. Don't know why they keep having Subarus as NO QUOTE or massive quote.

I know a girl who works in a special "can't get car insurance anywhere else" type insurance company (where the excess in massive). anyway she said they have a short list of high-performance cars written by the company owner - if car is on list it doesn't get insurance from them. So I named another high performance car - she said it wasn't on list so they would quote it. That's how ridiculous it is - the owner didn't put a particular car on list so it gets quote - that's all its down to.

Not just Ireland, I got a cheaper quote to insure a 911 turbo than and STi in the UK..both group 20, the Porsche valued 4 times more
