€30,000? Were you covered for the optional extra personal injury cover or something? Whats quotes have you gotten for the crash damage?

Ouch lad, not a nice situation to be in.. Hopefully something comes of it anyway

Are they fighting the full claim saying your insurance was void or are they paying out to the lad you hit?

they paid out the other guy in 2day and canceled my insurance and refused to pay me a dime

Am i honest guy like so i really hate the way im treated yes i did hit him but that why you paid for insurance so i really annoy that they are trying take piss :new_argue:

This sounds a bit peculiar :ponder2:

So if I changed a set of standard wheels with hubcaps to a set of alloys would I have to notify them.

Or if I replaced an exhaust with someone like QuickFit due to a hole in the back box would I have to notify them.

Also what if Subaru Ireland made some adjustments to the car like they did with mine e.g. Prodrive suspension and OZ wheels do I have to tell them about the changes that the importer made so as not to end up getting screwed.

This country just gets worse and worse :dontknow:

Cheers, P

only way i see it is if you have a used car then tell them you bought the car like this
you have done nothing to it
then the cnuts have no excuses
there just getting tighter and tighter these days trying there best not to pay up :angry1:

Here's another way of looking at it....

What if I bought an RB320 and took off the Prodrive Power Pack and those beautiful wheels and put bog standard kit on it would those mods leave me null and void???

Years ago I was in dispute with an insurnance company and when I asked them how they rate the cars in this country they said they use What Car magazine - so I said fine I'll use the Top Gear annual rating and we'll compare notes. Furthermore I asked for a signing off letter because I wanted to take the dispute to the ombudsman and guess what the difference of €800 on the policy was reduced to €80.

This is a banana republic :wall:

Cheers, P
