Big_red I would seriously look over every detail of your policy and make sure it is correct. That quote just doesn't make sense for a 22 year old on an Impreza compared to my 25% increase at 30 years of age.

Yeah I know what you mean but I went over it well over and over again and all my details are correct and so are the cars! I don't know why it went down so much but I'm not complaining! And it's my first year with my own no claims bonus so I heard that that makes quite a difference also.

on my sheet here it says:
9yrs ncb
ncb discount applied 51%
discount of €1170.19

renewal €1067.23

whats better is its actaully cheaper, i was pay more than i thought. my monthy payments was 93 euro last year and now its 86.50

:049:

jaysus lads, how can they be asking me for €1600 at 30 with 8 years ncb :hammerhead: :hammerhead:

Jesus, people. I read your topic and can not believe what I see. How can there be such price difference in the same country. I understand the influence of age and how much time is No Claim Bonus, but the price is still inhuman. If I understand correctly this is due to the fact that we are owners of Subaru? And does not even matter whether it's turbo model or not?
I was looking for the best price for me (and my girlfriend - insurance would be in her name) on insurance for Legacy B4 1999-2000. Four different sites gave me the same result of 900 - 1100 Euro a year. I am 26 years old, have licenses for 3 +, a girl 25y and she has a 3 y NCB and the license for 7 years. The question is: Can we I believe in that? I am afraid of situation where I will bye a car and later will not be able to pay of my Insurance.

Which is the most expensive machine to insurance, and which is the cheapest? I am talking about the Impreza WRX, Impreza WRX STi, Legacy RSK B4 Legacy GL or simple Impreza Non Turbo. Could some one draw a table what could be the price of the insurance written in ascending order?

And what for Road Taxes is all 2L Subarus goes for 614 annual fee? Or there are nonsense with prices as well?

Thanks for replies,
Big Fan of Subies hoping to buy one eventually :subaru:

Just got sorted this morning lads

Went with Chill.ie (covered by AXA)

€1017 fully comprehensive on my Type R.

Almost €600 cheaper than Quinn Direct.

You're lucky Andy

The best deal Chill gave me was 1650 with 4000 excess  (XS DIRECT)

-I think that's something to do that I have polish driver's license but not sure...

I have driver's license since '96 10 years ncb... and still that's the best offer I got :(

Yeah it's official lads, €1400 for my insurance! Rang them up to make sure! Apparently my mam has me down under her health insurance so it's an additional 'up to' 10% discount! I'm delighted with it because I was worried it was going to go up too!

its not cos your polish codders cos i got a price of them last week and its was 2469 LOL

No, I didn't mean because I'm polish, but because of the polish driver's license I have. If I had irish one I'd been quoted much lower, as I'm 30 with 10ncb and full driver's license held for 14 years ;)

ha right, you could be right there. my wife to be is polish and she has her's for 3yrs but its an irish one. she just got the renewal for her 206 and its €360 fully comp. :comp26: :comp26:
