id be happy with €1000 fully comp in August when mine is due , will be on 9 years ncb tho so hope for small bit better maybe

Back in the days when I looked for my 1st insurance in Ireland, AXA was the only company
willing to listen to the words: foreigner, no Irish ncb and Subaru in one sentence. Ever since
that time every year I'm shopping around and at the end always go back to them.

Try national insurance on dorset street .

They are a broker that I use and the cheapest quote I could get fully comp

Was 1030 , so ended up getting a trade policy for 1900 which covers my work van also

The place in with now insure.ie have me with axa, rang Arron insurance got it for 330 less with axa again.
Mad insure.ie can't match it ????

Result 750 comp, stuck with the brokers and last call of the day, guy says im supprised this place are quoting think he said aion somethig like that, he said axa were quoting 1250, anyone intrested there name is fitzgerald flynn insurance 01-2122895

Edit to add: could'nt find the number for arron in the book i'll look them up on the comp and see how i get on, cheers Keith

That's mad! It's Aon insurance. The reason it's mad is because Aon just took over insure.ie so they should have been able to match the quote for you!

Must say i found AXA deadly to deal with. Had the womans car insured with them but it was only a 1.6 vw golf, but when i rang to transfer to the subaru it only went up €170 which was understandable ... it still less than €800 and i 29 with 5 yrs ncb.....

I decided to get a quote for the craic. I renewed with Axa in March so wasn't going to benefit from it but thought I may aswell. Got an email today from them for €500 less than I paid with Axa. Rang them to see if it was OK and after a few more details she comes back with €540 less.

Feckin' gutted but at least I know now for next year.
