right ive been meaning to post this for ages to see if anybody has any ideas or a quick fix?
ive the 12litre tank in the boot.when i fill it up and park in on my drive way it leaks out over time down the driveway.
my driveway is on a steep slope and it will only leak if the car is reversed into the driveway, front of the car facing out to the road.it wont leak if i drive forwards into the driveway as in rear of car facing out to the road.
it seems to be leaking onto the ground from just behind the gearbox.
ive put it on the ramp in work at various angles.lifted rear off the ground and lifted front off the ground and it will not leak even if its left for an hour in either position???

so has anybody seen or heard of this before.with the car on a ramp its nearly impossible to see anything due to shields,gearbox...etc,etc. any help ideas would be great as im sick of filling the tank and sick of the orange empty light on the dash :angry1:

Is your carpet wet inside the car? i mean the back? is the tank right against the back of seat in them?
does it leak from full to empty? or only half way etc etc.. that will determine how far up crack is, or if it is a crack. if its emptying right to the bottom it could be piping or pump etc etc

the tank is fine.inside is bone dry.
its defo the pipe work or something. just impossible to get at under the car. im really just looking for a quick fix or wondering has anybody seen it before?

cant see why the pipe would leak only on a slope!!!!
time to pull the shields down graham or you'll never find it!!!
:ponder2: :ponder2:

pipe could be leaking the whole time collecting somewhere, when on a slope it makes its way out maybe? is the floor carpet wet??
