I have a back box here that looks very very similar, sounds really good even on a standard system, tail pipe is 4-4.5 inches diameter and has STI stamped into it... magnets stick to it do :(
 
It could be stainless Ken ...some stainless has a higher iron content than others and a magnet will stick.
Any pictures of the box ????
 
A magnet will stick to interior grade stainless there's a number on it 316 or something like that but it's It should also be very light Ken as in about half the weight of a similar 1 . I have 1 mid sections pipe I got that looks like titanium but don't think is either but it's light looks the same as titanium a magnit won't stick either so unsure

if you read on his thread in fb he is taking alot of abuse for breaking and also few inquiring in buying it as whole but sadly more money to be made this way.
