N81 like all N routes have too much traffic. Try R routes, particularly across mountains (hills). I could name a few brilliant ones, but anywhere as far away from the East of Ireland is a good place to start. But dont forget you can only do 80kmh on them whereas you can go as fast as 100kmh on N roads. That must be why N81 so good! :icon_grin:

That all depends on how comfortable ya wanna be...or how sweaty ya wanna be :lol: I'm gonna go with 7 :icon_grin:

The road up around Loch Lomond is well worth it! Googlemap it and check out the run of the A82 :thumbsup:
