jap type back box

have a jap type back box sorted for my GTB not sure of the make was wondering how loud it will be mine is the standard box with stainless steel center section its loud enough on the outside but cant here it much inside i disconnected that stupid thing in the boot that keeps the exhaust that bit quieter when im not on the turbo's but still cant really hear it.any advice as i dont want to have to change how i drive it for the sake of hearing that great boxer sound but my mates wrecking il end up driven slower because of how loud it will be.please help will i wont i?you decide.

Hey Scoobyturbo,
What year is your car ?

Fit the back box , yes it will be alot louder, can't say how much
as you don't know the make.

And get rid of the CAT in the downpipe it's very restrictive and will release
a few more BHP

And don't mind your mates (prob gay evo lovers anyway ) ,
anyway if it's to loud you can always swap it back.

You are better off fitting a good back box, Cheap one's can actually loose you BHP,
can be too loud at high rev's (neighbours might not be so happy) or to loud in the car (she'll kill ya)

from the way i read it you ere looking for a exhaust thats fairly loud at low, revs i have a SPR1 systm i got off renno at street performance and theres a nice rumble off it even at low revs

Or else just get a Blitz Nur Spec if it's noise you're after.
