Lads whats the general opion on Japanese imports. Are you better buying a UK Turbo or UK STI? Mate of mine thinking of purchasing something but I want to give him some advice first. He has driven my UK Turbo Sport Wagon in standard form and thinks its great but he is thinking of a bit more power. Mine is up for a remap shortly and I hope to see 280/300 from this with all of my performance upgrades. Is this a better option for him? All info appreciated. :thumbsup:
 
if he is buying a newage car id advise a jap sti 02 on blob eye or hawk they are better spec than uk cars .if buying a classic or early newage {bugeye} id advise buying a uk wrx and mod it for more power as they are very reliable imo
 
if any newage bug 2000 onwards the jdm spec is far superior.

even wrx have avcs, xenon, rear wiper etc.
 
Thanks lads, keep all the opinions coming please, as we are trying to build up a good picture, are any additives for fuel needed for Japanese imports? Whats the no no when buying Japanese cars? You get the idea. :thumbsup:
 
with imprezas if fully fully totally standard in """"ALL""" areas then maxol e5 should suffice
