Ha what power difference on wrx models an what can each be safely tuned for on standard internals
 
jdm have stronger internals afaik (wrx :dontknow:)


300-320 should be ok on standard , maybe more as im just not sure :ponder:
 
Would it not just be all the same internals but mapped for 100 Ron Jap fuel which is where the extra power comes in
Take it this side off the lake and Irish fuel with a Jap ecu and your suddenly better off with the Irish one and no fueling issues
Jap and Irish gonna make the same bhp if tuned for the same fuel
 
jdm bug wrx run avcs same as sti. although not same heads.

so jdm response would be better.

also have factory xenon headlights over irish.


jdm = better starting point.
 
If your thinking of going Bug mine is as good as any JDM it has upgraded ACL race bearings and everything else is new. You won't get better.
 
half thinkin of buying a bugeye i see jdm and irish are around the one price but one irish one has been rebuilt maybe should start a poll :dontknow:
 
Well this is mine if your interested, only just ran in after a full rebuild and has loads more new parts. Has just last week passed it's NCT and I've only clocked up 760 miles (500 run in miles) since the engine was refitted. She also has speedline corse turini alloys and looks amazing in the flesh.

yours is the one thats tempting me dont no whether to spend money on mine or go bugeye have mine 2 year longest ever had a car although prob had twenty other cars in that time to

I have to say I love bugs and would have them over the blob any day. Everyone to their own though. Very few blobs for sale at the minute with a fresh engine among other things.
