Saw you cruising by in the new M5 in arklow yesterday, serious machine, spotless looking and colour very impressive! Very jealous!
 
good man nick id be kurb crawling on a saturday night aswell if i had an M5, i do enough of it in the jag anyway :icon_razz:

I was down there in the work van for a driving course! Sittin by the river havin lunch when I spotted ya!

Thanks Gerry, its very different and very comfy, a lot more relaxin to drive and really pleasing to just waft along listening to the choons, press the m button and its mental, push hard on the throttle and it pulls like a train to just over 5k rpm after that it pulls like two trains all the way to over 8k rpm, takes a little getting used to the smg but no complaints other than its a little clunky at slow speeds if you don't shift up in the right range of revs but smooth once your use to it. It was a UK import but its in Irl since 2010.
 
You put on new numberplate or surrounds nick?

I'm pretty sure I remember somewhere on the plates it said 507bhp?
 
It's 400hp Gerry and when the M button is pressed it's 500hp :cool:

Hawkeye Collins :thumbsup: yeah got new plates and surrounds from eireplates :smile: the old ones weren't the best.
 
400bhp and the sport button makes it 500 bhp... savage.. what a button. what a car .. whats the mpg like ?
