Keep blowing bulbs!

The GF's 2007 Colt is eatin bulbs and I dunno wtf is wrong with the thing. Doesn't matter what I put in, OEM, Osrams, Bosch, Halfords, the thing kills them. Doesn't have HID's so it's not a ballast or anything like that.

It always blows the left and then the right comes a couple weeks after. I've a pain in the face changin' them at this stage. Any ideas?

I have a feeling there could be a stronger fuse in than it should have because there's a very distinctive electrical/mechanical clicking noise every time I turn the stalk to switch the lights on.

Do you touch the bulb its self when you are fitting them as that can cause them to blow. You must keep your fingers away from the dam things.

Would it be an earthing issue.

Nope always wear gloves and put them in with tissue to make sure they're dry. The bulb isn't cracking as if there was a hot spot from touching it, the whole element is burning out.

Maybe it's a resistor or something letting too much charge through. :dontknow:
