the brother was tellin me he was talkin to a lad who was sittin outside kfc munchin on some chicken when two "junkie's" hope in back of car , pull out big knife and tell him to start drivin . couple of mile down road to some estate and then ordered out of car . car gone !! :angry1: :angry1: :angry1:

so jus a word of warning to be careful out there lads

Im starting to make it a habit of pressing the central locking button when i buckle up .
Better to be safe rather than sorry imo.
Too many opportunistic crimes taking place, jasus you cant even stop for a bite to eat now :new_2gunsfiring_v1:
 
Terrible state of affairs...how in the name of fook would a junkie manage to offload a stolen car :cuckoo:

I don't think you have anything to worry about nicky, a couple of minutes drive down the road with you & not a grab handle to hold onto they the junkies would be begging you to stop so they could walk :icon_grin:

lad in work told me he was in a taxi and he had a 4 oz hammer, then taxi man told him... afew taps of this and they quietin down.. sounds like it was tryed and tested :lol:
 
A local mini bus near me has a metal baseball bat in clear view above the windscreen.

I'd imagine most taxi fella's would have something in their car.
 
Was up in tallaght visitin my sister in the hospital. went into Dominos in the square to pick her up a pizza. When walkin back to the car seen 2 junkies and thought dodgy. As we walked to the car, heard a glass smash, turned around and noticed they'd followed us and stopped at the cornor.

As I drove outta the car park im lookin about but no sign of them. Then as I drive around to the hospital (at back of the blue bar) one of them appears in the middle of the road, balaclava on, jeans open and hand down the front (i didn't see what he had). Standin in the middle of the road so i tried movin into the oncoming lane to aviod him. He got as far as the passanger window and milled it with his fist or whatever was in his hand. I was lucky it didn't break.

Stopped about 20yrds up the road a bit shocked. Lookin at him in the mirror and he was walkin toward the car arms out, shouting something. I slapped the car into reverse and floored it (hopin he was gonna jump out of the way). He just stood there. I was thinkin this was a bad idea. but he dived out of the way just in time. So i drove off and left him on the ground. Probably lucky i didn't hit him as i'd have been the one who got done!.

Scary moment tho, some dodgy fkrs out there!
 
Only fear with carrying weapon is that if you do hit someone with it, regardless of being hijacked,

you are liable for being sued...

Like the whole being burgled thing and giving them a hiding..legislation in this country is :mooner:

I sometimes see junkies hanging around the new M&S carpark opposite the hospital and outside the spar opposite the 1st luas stop by the

square and have heard from a mate who did security when M&S complex first opened that they used to wait round for mothers with kids

to load up the car and mug them with syrenges as the carpark and access to the shop was still under construction so poor lighting etc.

Just beware alright, all sorts of buckos out there looking to fook ye over as times are tough!!

@AlanmcB4..sorry to hear that man..musta been scary alright..better off ye didnt mow him down or the swine would be looking for mega money on top of his scratcher!!
 
i've one of those extendable wrenches down by drivers seat and short metal baseball bat in passenger footwell. fu*k the scum, they'll get whats coming. :new_2gunsfiring_v1:
