hows it goin lads,i havent been on this for a wile,as iv been up to my eyes in work,im still tryin to sell my 98 v4 sti.it had short block done 2 years ago and runs sweet ever since,just got new discs and pads all around,also new rad,all fluids and filters just changed,it has a v5/6 front with crystal lenses,hid pack,old type hks dump valve,a lookin for 5,000 which i think is a good price for a mint car.

Surprised thats still for sale. Looks a clean car from the outside.
 
I'm not, I couldn't get 3 grand for my 97 STI with a new engine and brembos etc :icon_rolleyes:

i know its depressing the way the market is,but im not lettin a dealer take it of me for nothing on a trade in,it is mint inside and out,im debating going down the raffle route,100 tickects at 50euro a pop,cheap sti for whoever wins,but dont know if its more hassle than its worth. :1poke:
 
Tell me about it, I have my sti up for sale aswell and can't get any interest. lads want them for stupid money. I'm sticking to my guns and not dropping price I advise you to do the same :thumbsup:
 
If it looks as good on the inside as it does outside defo do as the lad's say stick to your price cause it looks spanking. Hope you get your asking price man. :thumbsup:

But how would you pick the winning ticket in a fair way? I've seen people do the bonus ball on the lotto but there's only 45 (i think) numbers in the lotto
 
100 tickets to club members-numbers in hat 1-100...........club board makes the draw.seller gets price....member gets car.............is that to simple or are we getting into something illegal ???
 
You get a ticket with your number and a contract agrrement etc.. then using something like the lotto bonus ball on a particular night means there is no doubt about the winning number as opposed to the lads drawing a number from a hat one night in the pub when you may not be there to witness it.. Means there is no doubt in anyones mind is all :thumbsup:
 
have done a brief bit of research into the whole raffle thing and think i would need a permit of the gards,"not sure how handy they are to get",was also thinking 55 a ticket for 100tickets and donate 500euro to the childrens hospital on behalf of the isdc,next problem is finding a 100people without getting the money in dribs and drabs.

But as said above, how would you pick the winning number if its out of 100? Most lads go with the lotto bonus number as its the fairest way but that only goes upto 45 i think.

and as with anything like this, the money will come in in bits and drabs. What you could do is provisionally sell the numbers and once all numbers are provisionally sold go collect the money, then use the next lotto day as the draw :thumbsup:
