I made the pilgrimage to Le Mans for the first time this year
Here's a few low quality pics from my crap camera!

Thursday night qualifying was fun, as the air gets cooler, the cars get faster

Old group C cars in the wet on Thursday...

Then the Group C legends race on Saturday morning...

Sebastien Loeb was on the Playstation stand on Saturday to promote Gran Turismo 5, he did some time attack laps on the simulator... binned it twice!

Looks like great craic if you had a gang camping over.I heard rumours of a Subaru entry,did they make it to the start line?

Peugeot were very unlucky, they were so much faster and could usually do 1 lap extra on fuel.
I watched it last year on TV and told myself I had to go this year. Not a big fan of the camping myself but had to be done!
If you went with a group of mates it would be good craic alright!
My advice to anyone who is thinking about going would be to plan well in advance (unlike me!) and get a good campsite close to the circuit entry points.
I was in the biggest site, Beaujour. It had a good mix of all sorts of people but was a bit wild for me! Lots of fireworks and kids on mini motos and pit bikes, etc.
It is also useful if you know a few basic phrases of French as they absolutely refuse to learn English over there! :lol:
