thinking of getting a 00 leggy b4 thats after coming up 173km on it but a decent price and good length nct anything in particular i need to look out for the timing belt was done 50k ago and it has a decent service history ive driven it and it feels ok not as much power as the impreza but still not bad
 
Timing belt due at 183k again. Listen for any knocks from suspension-billies are not cheap. If any hesitation up through the revs check for fault codes. Clutches are quite mild so make sure plenty of miles left. Engine should be 100% dry-look for oil leaks from the heads-same with diff.
 
is the timing belt not every 100000 kms or 60000 miles couldnt hear anything from the suspension and engine was dry with very clean oil gearbox felt looser than the impreza but felt ok cheers :thumbsup:
 
T/B is every 60000km. Gearbox wont feel the same as impreza as not short shift. How's engine feel? Have you started it up from cold?
 
cheers didnt know that engine feels fine and sounds very smooth just not as raw as the impreza but kinda subtle power if that makes sense no boost gauge so not sure how its boosting havent heard it from cold but no rattles etc when warm and couldnt see any smoke or anything behind me
 
Agree with sean, timing belt needs doing again. how much car going for?? plug in the plugs under steering wheel and check for fault codes, Make sure all lights are lighting on start up and that bulbs aint been removed. :thumbsup:

bought her today all bulbs lighting up no faults showing fairly happy out now but its very different from the ra cheers for the advice guys :thumbsup: im def gonna look into getting timing belt done bout 60k mark ill fire up some pics later just missing the lead :icon_rolleyes:

Best of luck with the car Paul. I hope you have better luck going from an Impreza to a Legacy than I did.
