No lip at all on them dan, they seem in good shape, until ya come to stopping!

Fu@k me, i just checked my car online, its down as legacy b4 2.0i bl5 non turbo, when get garage vrt'd it thats what was put down. What the hell!

probably cheaper to VRT a 2.0 non turbo so! tax is 614 for the year.

Did you replace those bushings on yours? I though that would have been the cause of the vibration

yeah dan, replaced the bushings, they were in bits alright, but "wobble" is still there, everything points to the discs, as its only happening when braking

you try replace the pads yet?

ive got the car outside the house now. drives sweet except one thing, when i put down the foot in 3rd/4th gear its struggling, hard to explain, it struggles a bit as if it was empty of fuel but there is plenty in it. Any ideas what this might be lads? i really hope its not a big problem cause of the bloody money ive spent on it.

dunno, what fuel is in it? any octane booster in there? check the airfilter is clean and that all the vacuum hoses are tight and the intercooler pipes are on tight

did you have a mechanic check it over before you bought? should spotted that on a test drive. Could be a number of things, boost solenoid etc. is it happening when cold only, or when she's warm?

just regular fuel i assume, whatever they put in it before i collected it, i doubt there is any octane booster in there at the moment, i wouldnt really know what to do myself checking all that stuff on the car.

wont be around tommorow as ive to go to offaly and wont be back till monday i dont think cause i promised the missus id go to some f*cking communion i dont care about 1 bit, next week if your about id go for a spin n meet ya somewhere if your about mate, you are in dublin too?
you reckon the car be grand to drive once i take it easy on her the next few days? it needs petrol anyway so i head up to maxol and see if the petrol there might make a difference for starters.

If your worried about it just drive it in eco mode off boost just to be safe, maybe the car wasnt driven for a while and needs a good run to get back to form. stick with the Maxol stuff if you can. Im based in Dublin work over near redcow, live over near Blanchardstown so can meet up most evenings for a bit

cheers man, and can i ask you about the eco mode, whats the story with it, it keeps it off boost? does it save much on fuel keeping it on eco most of the time. I havent a bloody clue about the car if im honest haha just that i like it

from what i understand the eco mode limits the boost most of the time so should make it more economical to drive but will be down on power. Mine boosts at 1.3 bar on full whack and when on eco mode about .8 bar. SO only thing that will keep it off bost is your right foot! keep revs below 3000 to be most economical

to test it out, on the motorway, accelerate in 5th from say 100-120 in eco mode then do the same in normal mode, you will notice she pulls a lot better out of eco mode,
