legacy b4 from sequential to parallel turbo set up

Just wondering is it possible, and if so is there a ridiculous amount of work involved.. has anyone ever seen it done or done this. where by the car runs as parallel turbo, spooling both turbos up identically rather than sequential (one first then both)

Yup that's the idea, heard its possible to buy a block off plate for the exhaust/manifold, so the two are seperate, and with a few vacum line adjustments its possible to run the two turbos side by side from the start of the rev range. Haven't found any synopsis on a detail of how its done though and haven't seen a fully completed car

Have a search on uklegacy. There's been threads about that previously. Main downside is major lag trying to spool both turbos. Not much happening before 4k apparently

There's pretty much no difference in the size of the turbos anyway. If going to that hassle, better to go single turbo and follow the tried and tested route, unless you have a lot of funding and want to be different, in which case, change the engine to a 3L and follow Andy Forrest's lead :icon_headbang:

Turbos are near identical indeed, a company does a kit, but apparently boost kicks in at 3500rpm, the kick up the hole after VOD is gone and the car feels slower, know of 3 forum uk members that tried it and all switched back to standard
