Ha was thinking that, just meant nothing over that, no new models using the few on donedeal as a price guide :hammerhead:

Just bought mine for 3500 totally standard 2001 rsk model. You'll find something alright. Happy hunting, take yer time tho

prices are coming down man! lots of bargains out there! but also Subarus being Subarus you need to keep your head screwed on!

know anyone to go look at one with you?? someone that has or knows them well?

THINKING about chopping mine in! but TBH 5k is a little to little really! new engine cost me 3k lol

Keep it, cause you have absolutely no hope of getting over €5k for one now. Either that or sell it with a mind to upgrade to a Rev D for an extra few quid..

Goosie208, Nobody :icon_cry: I can get someone to look at it after I buy it, but by then it'll be too late!! I dont know much about Subarus to be honest, :dontknow: I priced the AA inspection, but they charge serious money to take it away an check it out, cant do that for every car i look at. Id have no problem throwing one of the lads from ISDC a few quid to check it out. But id like someone who knows there stuff.

Where are you based? If there's someone local to you, then I'm sure they would give you a dig out

Even before going to look at the car, I make sure the owner has no problem taking it to the garage of my choice. If they are not willing, then its not worth my time. What I do is to go look at the car, give it a serious going over, preferably with one of the lads present as well and then if i like it, I take get them to take it to Ciaran in ASD for a serious going over. If he says its ok at that point, then I will go for it. Haven't got that far yet unfortunately though :icon_sad:

i know man! its gutting! im thinking of just keep it, really thinking about the logistics of a manual conversion! but its a big job! i know it makes sence to just chop in the auto and get a manual but on a car that owes me twice what id get, its hard to do! :dontknow:
