Was thinking about a legacy turbo diesel for the wife has to be the estate because we need the space for kids bikes and stuff looking at 2008 up to 10
Anyone got anything or know of anything
Cheers
Keith

Was thinking about 520 touring but with the bad winters think I'd be better off with 4wd

Thanks again
Keith

even on 5th gen Dave?

im with dave I know of at least 3 that have sh*t themselves Subaru should have left the diesels to vw

So what's my best option has to be estate and diesel
With all the mod cons
Cheers

the two best estate cars on the road are either the mondeo 2.0 tdci or the vw Passat tdi actually I would also say the skoda octavia massive boots in all and very reliable once bought with low mileage .the only advice I can really stress is to buy the lowest mileage and best history car you can get for your budget all diesel cars suffer huge repair bills at about 100,000 miles

go petrol keith theres a 07 on donedeal for 6k your not doing mad milage so its a win win

I know 3 owners of Octavias - a vrs diesel, a 110bhp diesel & a 140bhp diesel. Every one of them has had countless problems. Talk to Ciaran about Nialls vrs - it has broken his heart!

My favourite looking estate, we have the facelift saloon, mega leg room in the back,it's averaging 5.4 l/100km

Stay well clear of diesels Keith. I've two ex-diesel mechanic mates that wouldn't touch em unless new with a barge pole!

Keith have you seen the new Mazda 6 very nice indeed?
This one very nice but all of em back through the years are stylish and reliable interior of last few gen a bit cheap looking though.

Stick with honda mazda toyota my shout
