Legacy front splitter

Im looking for a new front splitter the same as shown in the picture below, as the one on it has some cracks. I tried some place like mcgautostyling but had no luck. Anyone know of a place that supplies them?

They prove difficult to find in good condition, you can buy new but you won't like the price even before shipping from Japan!

Could you not take it to a body repair shop or have a go yourself? That's what I plan on doing when the weather gets better,

Also waaay off topic, your leggy seems to be riding rather high at the back?

Well if I cant source one at a reasonable cost Im goin to have to go down that route. But hopefully it doesn't come to that as its in very bad condition.

I think its just looking high because of the slant its sitting on. The arches decide to attack the tyres when someone sits in tha back as it is, so wont be going any lower :icon_surprised:
 
Like hen's teeth man and even if you do find one, it'll more than likely only be sold with the bumper its attached to.

Has anyone tried going to subaru to see if they're still making them?
 
Yeah, from Japan, about €300 before shipping, unpainted.

So I'd say after you pay shipping, and a professional spray job, €450?? Maybe

Just like any parts for our Leggys, if you go via a Stealership, most have to come from Japan. Just be glad he's not looking for a Blitzen bumper haha! Won't get much change out of €2500 for the real macoy
 
Is that from Japanparts or something? I've never had to pay for shipping when going through a dealer. Subaru dealers are getting a delivery of parts from Japan every 3 weeks so I would assume it would come with them. Still super expensive either way but about the same as any genuine subaru front splitter
 
We have waiting list for them second hand. I get them in every now and then

How bad are the cracks? I bought one there a while back and it was in really bad condition! Only paid 50e for it so i decided to get it. A lot of plastic welding and body filler later I managed to save the lip from the bin, because thats all it was fit for. If you want, my mate is very good with plastic welding and DIY spraying. He won't charge ya much to fix it! PM me if you want to talk more about it!

I'd be a lot cheaper than getting a new one I can guarentee!

The lip is in fairly rough condition but could still be repaired with some work. I do alot of bodywork myself so would be able to manage it myself. Its just I didnt realise how rare these lips were, I thought id pick one up for about 80 and be done with it :icon_grin:
 
Ha was in the exact same position as yourself! Hard to believe something so small is so expensive. Well good luck with it anyway! Like I said if ya need a hand just message me!
