legacy gt-b on donedeal,anyone here?

James the milage is high try find out if he meant klms although i have read about legacys doing 250000 miles no probs as long as its looked after.
i dont think they did an auto version of the GT-B also has no spoiler + standard spot lights
I had a 95 GT and it was a great car v.fast and comfortable looked the same as that one
i have a 99 manual GT-B and its much more of a buzz better kick engine has bigger injectors etc
AUTO = 260BHP engine type was BG5 EJ20T
MANUAL=280BHP engine type is BG5 EJ20R
if you get the model number you will know you can find loads of info on the net.

Cheers

Thanks Billy, i'll contact him and see what model it is exactly. I would prefer manual but they are hard to find.

edit; quick check tells me this car is registered in 1996 as a GL 4wd auto

Alot of the original leggys imported into ireland were classed as a gl awd for vrt reasons as knowbody knew much about them iv being told.
when i bought my one it was on english plates and on a car check site as gl awd even though my log book says gtb
try hold out for a manual i have mine 4 years and have thought a few times that id like to go auto again but dont think i will till i cant use my left foot anymore
i was thinking of selling mine to buy an impreza but i need a new clutch and a garage said they could only give me 1.5k for it as a trade in this morn its worth more to me so im gona replace the clutch and hold onto it.bought the car for 8k inc vrt 4 years ago i spent around 3k on it in the first year and 2k+ in the last 3years all repairs so make sure you get someone to check it for you before you buy i didnt and it cost me
best of look finding one and i hope you find a good one :thumbsup:

Hey -

That's my old car. She should be fine, even with the mileage. When I got rid I did it because I smacked the front of it off a ditch (low speed tho) and did a bit of cosmetic damage, it was driving perfect. She needed a timing belt too, i just didn't have the money to pay for the repairs and timing belt and ongoing petrol costs.

Oh, and she's the BG5 EJ20T auto, and that is miles, she had almost 250k kms when I had it last. If you are tempted let me know cause I have all the service history stuff I can email it to you if you want.

I sold it to my cousin who is a mechanic (and a very good one at that) so I would say she's a safe bet, just make sure he did the belt as it was due to be done around now.

Fecking tempted to buy her back now, I'm in a '95 corolla xli since and man do I miss that leggy.
