Leggy is in for Nct today

My Leggy is in for the nct at half 11, I'm in dublin and my car is in sligo. Daddy's bringin it in for me. :pray: :pray: :pray: Here's too hoping :pray: :pray: :pray:
 
Just make sure your dad tells them that its 4wd, you never know what those bumholes in the NCT will do and if they'll realise it is 4wd...

Aaaahhhhhh i hate being so far away from the car, Had too take bus too work, What a nightmare, Hour and a half too get across to finglas and 2 busses later. :angry1:

On constantly or just when you turn on the ignition? It should come on when you turn the ignition on and go out a couple of seconds after the engine is started...
 
ask your dad to check.. It should come on when you turn on the ignition, then when you turn on the engine, it will stay for a couple of seconds and then go out... Shouldnt come on again unless something is wrong
 
Just rang him there, And it says that the light isn't working. Its not on or anything, and abs is working fine. is it just a bulb???
 
Could be, might have to get it plugged in to know for sure though... afraid i've reached my limit on the subject... When you get the car back down here, give ciaran(rs-ra) a call and he'll be able to sort you out.. Dont think he's too far from you..
 
Ya my dad is bringin it back too a garage at home and there goin too have a look see. wish i was home myself now. i'll know tomorrow. They never noticed before!!!! strange. Last time it failed emmissions so got new cat and lambada sensor, but ran out of time too get it all done so had too do full test agian. only about 500kms put on since las one.

Just went out to check and make sure... Once you turn the ignition on (engine doesnt have to be running), the light will come on on the left side of the dash above the fuel gauge.. Its comes on in yellow writing... It will then go out after a couple of seconds regardles of whether you turn the engine on.. Just thought you should know in case your dad missed it in the couple of secs..
 
pity it failed on such a mickey mouse thing. i hope its only a bulb and ye get it back in before it needs a retest. as for public transport i work in finglas and if i had no car ied simply quit workin there rather then rely on busses and sh1t like that
 
when i took my car in for nct they failed it on same thing.. but my light was comin on..it comes on for bout 3 secs... engine doesnt have to be started for light to go off.
 
if the abs is working,then it must be the bulb....
very unusual to see a blown bulb....
happy days if thats all...
