Lightweight doors ebay

Be fine until someone in a carpark hits off you and instead of a ding you get a big dirty crack

Nice and safe when you have a side impact. I would only use these in conjunction with a roll cage ie. in a race car or track day weapon.

No way would i only have Fibre glass between me and another car, not even track cars would use them, only if they were a space frame creation, and fibre glass was only there for cosmetics..
i would image there designed for perspex fixed window, and i couldnt imagine the hinge points sticking opening a closing too much,
You be better and safer to pay 400 and join the gym and lose a stone or 2 that way:)

Bad, bad idea.... :naughty: FRP/GRP cracks, stresses & splinters very easily.... try slamming door shut a few times and see how well they hold up to the weight of window regulators and locks and watch your new doors desintegrate into a pile of dust!!!

Bar the fact you're a dead man as mentioned if you get t-boned in a crash!! :icon_hang:

If you wan't to lose weight with your doors... you'd be better off buying Carbon Kevlar complete doors... or door skins! Not worth it though unless your trying to make your car competetive for racing though!!
