Okay well civilization spot of bother with my 03 blob. Have noticed on idle if you tap the accelerator when it settles again the revs drop so low it nearly stalls its like the engine isn't getting enough air have checked for leaks where I can see and can't find any. When I'm driving it there's a loud hiss as though the dump valve is open a little and it is seriously down on power. Also when I come to a stop in have to fight to keep it alive and it's very juddery when I change down. Any ideas?
 
That's what I thought at first but took it off and seemed to be fine but don't have a different one available to try. May go hunt for one to see
 
Had this problem recently on my classic exact same symptoms and car would hunt idle when started warm changed the dump valve and it sorted it out straight away
