I replaced a wheel hub on my wife's Nissan qashqai today. I never got a new hub nut and I fecked up the threads putting it back on. I don't want to damage the drive shaft so lookng for a new nut. Tried local motor factors to no avail. Its a 32mm nut same as Subaru one from what I can remember. I'm hoping the thread size is the same. If anyone around Dublin has one new or used in good condition let me know. I need it asap and looks like it will be Tuesday before I can get one from dealer. She can't drive the car until I finish fixing it so she will have to drive my car until its sorted. So you can see the urgency of my dilemma. If anyone can help let me know asap and I'll drop over to you!

i wouldnt have a solution man but i do know that the thread on my scooby and my nissan silvia are the same, would lead me to imagine that the thread size is the same across all models of nissan as this is usually the case with a car manufacturer.

hope you get sorted handy enough :subaru:

CV joints come with new Nuts, so maybe a solution to buy a cheap cv joint from the factors for some form of Nissan, womans Primera is a 36mm

how much would a cv joint cost? i never checked. turns out subaru nut is smaller so no good to me, ill try swap the good drivers nut with passenger one and thread damaged one on back wards to try fixed the threads, hopefully that sorts it, just need to get me a 32mm spanner now!
