Hi All,

I have been a member for a fair while, but post sporadically - mainly when I have had a problem with my Scoob to be honest! So a little about me;

I've been in Ireland since early 2006 - was in Switzerland prior to that for 8 years, where I raced my Subaru in a Street Car Cup type challenge, to fund this I used to tune Impreza's and Evo's (started with FCDs and manually raised boost, progressed to EcuTek).

Just before the transfer to Ireland, I completed a new engine build on my car along with FMIC and twisted turbo set-up (22B.com thread detailling build here for anyone interested: http://bbs.22b.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=000011#000000).

Since arriving here I have started a family and I have had zero time for the car. It has become a shopping trolley for my wife and kids for the most part. I have never got beyond a basic map on the car since bringing it here - it is running wastegate pressure of 1 bar.

I am about to take the car off the road for a few months so I can fix some mechanical neglect issues, and am committing myself to finishing the build sometime this year!

I am going to be more active on these forums as a result. But an initial question - what is Karma, and how can I give/receive it? And I do not seem to be able to send PMs, is that because I am not a full member?

Many thanks, Richard

welcome richard

interesting car you have there as there is not many lads running the twisted turbo set up over here.

karma is basically away of thanking anybody on the site for there help and you can do this by clicking on "applaud" underneat were it says "karma".

PMs are restricted to full members, you can become a full member here if you are interested http://www.isdc.ie/club_shop.htm

Firstly welcome.

You cann't send PM as you are not yet a full member.

The Karma is a way of someone thanking you or you thanking them. On the left side of a post you will see Karma writen with [applaud] written under it. If you want to thank someone for doing you a good turn etc just click on [applaud] their Karma count will then rise by 1.

Thanks Both - I don't see an applaud button? Do I need to be a full member for that too?

Cheers, Richard

Welcome!

And Karma for your car! :thumbsup:

Thanks - but if you saw it at the moment I deserve no karma for it - more a kick up my ass for neglecting it for so long, LOL. It was supposed to be a reliable 450HP track car, instead it is a something less than 300 shopping trolley in some severe need of regular maintenance.
