lookin for info on nissan s13

Had one for 2 years a Uk import. Pretty good car, found it very easy to work on.
I'd watch out for the ABS system, mine gave problems.
The compression went on cyclinder no.4 but that was probably down to my driving
at the time.
Still great car. Will it be a road or track car your going for.

I was lookin for a track car but he has this mint
S13 and it registered. Took my eye.
To good for track. Maybe just bring it to Isdc
Track day.

Took someone else's eye first though :snooty:

they have a very soft engine...give trouble with oil pressure and tend to starve the top end of oil,all depends on how the prevous owner treated it and how u entend to treat it....make sure u give it a good check over b4 u buy...i have lots of nissan experience and know wat there like...my honest advise would be to stay WELL AWAY!!! just my advise...

S13 200sx-bag of sh1t-even nissan admitted eventually that the ca18det engine was unreliable. However the 180sx has one of the toughest turbo motors around-but try finding one that hasnt done 90% of its miles doing rings, usually all in one direction and not set up to deal with the pressure-so worn diffs, shafts, bushings due to rockhard coilovers and possible oil starvation.

Try and get hold of one as close to standard as possible. Internals are good for 1bar boost. Avoid boost controllers, jap coilovers(many will have gone out of production so next to impossible to replace if one lets go),plenty of badly resprayed ones around too. And have a good look at the chassis legs and valances. Avoid bigger turbos fitted to engines with unknown or standard internals(BANG!!!!!!)

She is all standard except for kit and set of wheels
And is runnin standard .6 bar boost and has 2 way diff.
Had it on litf today and is very straight. Has coilovers
Can't remember the name of them.
It's runnin like a dream, pulls very well through all the gears
Very very straight car. Interior is standard, no stupid bucket seat that's impossible
To get in and out of and no leaks of water or oil and boot is dry.

fibreglass. perlesent white one. he had no problem puttin it up on the lift anyway so not hiding anything.
body work is straight as a die

Is it a jap import, have a good look underneath the engine.
If its as straight and well minded as yo say.
It'll put a smile on your face when you put the boot down
