Looking for a type r p1

Hi all im looking for a Subaru Coupe anything i should look out for im looking at a P1 but are they worth that extra bit of money :doh: help please
this might turn into a project so if i start modding the p1 is it going to kill to price on it ??
 
Ha ha i think iv learnt my lesson i might be breaking the legacy if i win my case or sell the hole thing do you think there would be ppl intrested is there many legacys on the site plus what is it worth :hammerhead:
 
As dossie said if yout breaking it let us know, as i heard there is a few sti goodies on yours. As there is 3 of us anyway who would be fighting to get fitst dibs

If you want to mod it.. I'd go with Type-R mate! :thumbsup:

With Type-R jdm come some extras like DCCD, no ABS (for me its an extra :lol:) + you can get one for a better price than P1 :thumbsup:

It would be a shame to mod P1 ! they should stay as they come IMO :smile:
 
Thanks for the info ill be only doing stonger engine mods flocking dash cage and change seats to save the standered one same with the wheels

I get ya mate :thumbsup: Same with my scooby.. pretty much standard outside, only some mods in the engine :thumbsup:

they are only back boxes John, might not mate up with your centre section, unless you still have the old one

i will just get cut mine off and get 2 flanges made up to match the ones on them
 
As codders said... a type R is much better for modding as standard spec is better than a P1.

I've seen a few modded P1's... not a fan!! And TBH... for what they are you're best leaving them standard as they'll appreciate in price with age a lot quicker than most other scoobs and unmolested example would be a nice car to have in a few years.

They also demand a higher price... so if you bought a type r you'd getter a higher spec car ... and with some spare change to do some modding! Plus you've a better choice of type r's around at the mo!
