looking for somewhere in the dublin area to get wheels resprayed

as above lads have gold wheels on a black sti. looking to get them sprayed black to give a better look to the car. can u recommend anywhere thats good at this job and not to expensive cheers lads

same here, looking to get my wheels sprayed black in the next few weeks too.
 
Some of the lads here have used Tallaght Powder Coating. They'll be on to give you's their opinions soon. :thumbsup:
 
Nick spec c did his own!!
There is a crowd in the solas tower industrial estate, I found them good, but a few lads didn't like them!

i got a quote from tallaght powder coating and yer man said 400 quid or something like that through email, thats out of my price range id rather just have em sprayed matt black by a sprayer i think.

checked the email again, guess its not too bad a price but still i dont have much money at the moment. i copy and pasted this from what he sent me

Our standard price for a set of 18" alloys is €80.00+VAT Per alloy.The total cost for the X4 alloys is €363.00 Including VAT. This price includes for : Dipping & Stripping Sandblasting Etch Priming Base coat powder primer Top coat powder finish
 
thats not a bad price in all fairness , my brother paid 400 to that crowd in Bray , lets just say 1 wheel looks good and the other 3 are in bits , if your on a budget look at nick spec c's thread where he refurbished a set of sti wheels , follow what he done and the job will be perfect
 
:icon_omg: :icon_omg: thats really good was looking at another crowd cant remember there name and it was like 160 per wheel wasnt a chance i was paying that for a respray
 
My mate got his dc5 alloys done in tallaght now they were in good condition anyway but came up brillant :thumbsup: Think they put a pic of the alloys on their web page :lol: :lol:
 
i emailed them got a quote of 363 for 4 wheels which is a gd price think il go with it and they look like they are a decent crowd
 
Used Tallaght Powder Coating before and found their finish on their wheels was very flat. There was just no shine off them.
Wheels came out looking like they were plastic.
There was also a bit of pitting/orange peel on the powder coat.

Would not be rushing back to use them again.

got mine done in tallaght powder coating aswell, got the scuffs out but finish was as yogi said, and comes off very easily too. if they wheels are in good condition maybe just get them resprayed rather than powder coated
