losing grip or something...losing grip or something...Issue Sorted!

Re: losing grip or something...Car is back with UPDATE!

i be more pissed off if i have to change them soon again LOL they arent cheap.

I will put it down to 28 and see how it goes, you see im worried about my alloys too. we dont have good roads down here.

Bridgestone on the back and prefect at 32.. i may just stick with them in future - maybe suit our roads better.

If the outside of your tyres are wearing then my first thought would be that the tracking is off... Outside wear would be caused by positive camber which will also make the handling sh!te.. Get it retracked and some negative camber thrown in and you'll notice a vast improvement in the handling

Here's a thread that might help you out also: https://isdc.ie/forum/threads/3352/

Some lads here run 35 psi without problems so dont think its the psi

Re: losing grip or something...Car is back with UPDATE!

My guess is running different makes of tyre front and rear will have different grip levels and add to the sensation of slippage you are experiencing.I have 17" on the classic and run at 34 lb pressure.Very comfortable on crap roads. Oh and definately dial in the negative camber about -2 degrees front wheels i think is on mine, totally transformed turn in grip

Re: losing grip or something...Issue Sorted!

problem fixed..
back tyres had to be changed soon anyways and with this weather better safe than sorry. So i just bought new tryes for the front, i went back to Bridgestones.

So i moved the F1's from da front to the back and put da new bridgestones on the front.

When the F1's are worn i will just replace them with bridgstone later down the road.

I had bridgestones on the car before i changed to F1's, i think i will just stick with them in the future..

thanks for all the help and advise...
