Lost house keys

Bought a new house a few months ago and got 4 keys with it but hav lost them all :icon_rolleyes:

so cant lock the house when goin out...

does any body know if i can just get somone out and they could make a key up some how :ponder:

or is it a case of havin to take out the barrel and put a new one in???

any ideas???
 
Paul you could prob get a locksmith guy out to clone the barrels and make you new keys, but what i would worry about is does someone have your keys and do they know the house there for?> i would nearly go and change them to be safe, depending on where you are, i can get you new barrells a keys from where i work, all doors nearly all have same fitment. if you want give me a ring or text. get my number out of my for sale posts :thumbsup:

that would be great mate where are you?
any idea how much it would be for a locksmith to make me up a new set of keys?

Ring your house insurance company, your probly insured for lost keys and/or changin locks. Then just get receipt for work you should be able to claim it back :thumbsup:
 
had a quick look before i left, its deffo part of the main locking mech and the whole mechanism would need to come out if you where to change it. it might be cheaper to fit a third lock like a yale, but might not be posible and the existing mech goes from top to bottom making it impossible to drill.

if its just yale lock, it should be easy to take out the whole lock and handle and just change it to a similer one.
 
Kemaster locksmiths in Dorset street will look after you. Tell them Joss recommended them
 
I was assuming it was an aluminium or pvc door, thats what the barrells i can get would be used in
