Lucky boy today, bit of a smash...

didnt think so, we were only cruisin out the road.... There's a hill that has a bump on at the bottom coming round a slight bend and when the rear suspension hit it, there was no weight in the back and it stepped out on the ice... He tried correcting it going down the road and it felt like we were actually gaining speed as he was fighting it... Then we got out of the ice, the car just suddenly gripped and swung around the opposite way and that was it, no chance... The worst part was i saw the pole coming at me and thought i was definitely a goner... Cant believe it...
 
Thanks lads, fookin scary sh*t, first bad smash i've actually been involved in...

Fookin day cant get any worse, I'm only back in from the doctor and my neighbour comes bangin on the door to say that her fella is dead... She was hysterical so i went over lookin for him... Nothing downstairs so i was heading up the stairs to see if he was ok and there he was hangin from the ceiling... suicide... Never seen anything like it in my life, its an image thats gonna haunt me... I cant fookin believe this day, still got the fookin shakes here now..

Jesus Rob that was a bad one lucky lads hope your feeling better soon as for the neighbour thing i seen one myself not nice.

Jesus Christ Rob. When you said earlier that you were at home after a smash I thought ah right bit of a dent. Fcuk me that car is in a bad way, you're really lucky to have walked away from it :shock2:

And can't even imagine what its like for you having to walk up the stairs and seeing that young fella hanging, sorry to hear this man.

@ Mark - the crash happened on the backroads out of lusk heading towards balbriggan, car probably would've been taken to rush i think.. Where did you see it?

Out near the truck stop on the old N2. Near were the Subaru place is. :thumbsup:

fu*k robbie you are lucky too walk away from that . fair play for keepin a level head. on a serious note ,drink plenty of tea with sugar. if not tea coffee but with sugar. shock can still come upon ya hours after in a day. hot drink and SUGAR is your key. terrible day for you. sorry toohear. :thumbsup:

Thats what happened to me when I crash in 2003. Nothing you can do. Back looses weight, Slides out not a hope of getting it back as I found out as she stratened up she flicked out to the other side. Then it was pray time. My 6 month old Impreza blob eye was a right off.
