m3

That would be the first of the Saloon evo's..mileage must be very suspect...a lot of the Saloons where uk rep mobiles which means high motorway mileage be very surprised if that has FBMWSH to back the mileage..still a bargain if its straight but

I'm fairly sure thats the same car i looked at a few weeks back but it had a different ad. Said something about a gearbox problem. Can't remember the name but its a common fault on some of the boxes. Thats if its the same car.

have you checked how much vrt is? dont think the saloons have same bucket seats as coupes

Would be grand for a breaker or a track car, but not worth VRT'ing.

Not the cleanest looking example, so you'd be better off buying a cleaner registered one here. Would save you money in the long run.

have you seen the car??

No, but being a 4 door and on English plates doesn't really really make it that much of a bargain.

£2,600 is €3,000. Plus €2k VRT makes it stand €5k for it registered. You can get nice clean 2 door (far more desireable), on Irish plates for that price.

Mine is sold now lads but thanks for mentioning it.. big Bmw m3 fan bought it, around 50 yrs of age, worked on Bmws all his life and knew everything about them, and said it was a very good car, and the best he'd expect to see now with there age in mind:)
Thats expensive for a 4dr in my opinion, you are about the only person i know that wants a 4dr... as i said as far asi can remember the interior is completly different, think they just have standard seats and at most cloth buckets.. Mine is sold now.. but my car was 1998 evo 320bhp 6spd, fbmwsh... and you want to pay that and give the government over 2k for vrt for a 1995.. 4DR.. and it not an evo, 5spd.. 280bhp!!!!!!!!! I am trying to put a price on it in my head of what i would pay for a 4dr and irish reg and tbh, no insult to car but i think if i seen it up for 2k on irish reg i still wouldnt be interested.. thats just me do.. go buy a silver leather estroil blue or techno violet coupe.. some car

the coupes are gorgeous alrite but i'd just love a 4 door one cos i've never seen one in the flesh and i'm big into uniqueness in cars yano, your one was serious lookin, i was even tryin to get a friend of mine to but it off ya but too late now!

I would be just worried about your resale value..
you buy engine, box and wiring from an m3 evo for around 1600 euro!!!!
had thought of it for a kit car:)
things dont break on them really so like a honda, except its for transplant purpose, in general they not a good breaker as body is more or less the same... so if they not worth much to break whether it be coupe or 4dr, they dont have a high fail safe price...i know you want somethging different but i think you will end up with 5k tied up that you cant get back, all for the want of something different...
if you want to suprise lads.
buy a m3 coupe, stick a bad set of Lexus rear lights on her, put a 318 rear badge on her.. and happy Hunting:)
