Make cars slow again

100% sense and it’s not talked about enough , at that point myself now ,
More important things in life ,

One final push for me with my car and I’m going back to standardish power , non forged internals , and I’m done then with the car , may even go up for sale

Chasing figures is a waste of time, spend enough time chasing power and we’ll all realise this

I get it, completly.
As the man said, it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is a fast car fast.
Drive these machines fast, and you're actually doing stupid speed. I'd hate to have a yoke that would go around 200mph. Don't think you'd ever be satisfied with it unless in Germany lol

I always said to the buddies that you dont need mad power to have fun in a car , i had a 94 20valve levin years ago and it was the best car I ever owned and the most fun, 160bhp I think it had..
The rs has 220 ponies and its great fun to drive

It's true tho, there's a lot to be said for the oul Civic VTEC and GT Starlet etc, feels like you're lifting it and the engine screaming etc but still only 60 or 70mph lol
I think you'd have great fun in those cars. Drive a Subie flat out down backroads and you're travelling at an awful unholy rate to be fair 🀣

But yea the pleasure in light fwd cars is great use no bloody brakes tires ect too

I love em, always will have a soft spot for the oul VTEC and GTs. Great fun.

An Ek9 once ate my dust on a backroad , I was in a tuned 1989 turbo Nissan March Super Turbo πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
All the power and revs were used πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Realistically the ek9 is a better car but the March punched above its weight, 152hp 770kg πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Trailer like suspension design on the rear of Gt starlets was dodgey
VERY!!! Jesus christ they were skippy on bumps them. The lad I sold it to flipped it 2 weeks later. He was fine thank god. But still, they were great crack all the same lol
I had an EM1 before too, never had an EK9 but got many a drive in one. Very capable cars them. DC2 aswel, epic machines
