cant wait to see or hear this :subaru:

Tony Pond did a lap in the 90's of 102mph or there abouts in a rover 3.5 V8.its stood since then..................till now.
Mark is a local so i hope he can beat it as he knows the place.
100mph average is needed around the full course to achieve this, so heres hoping the car holds up???

anyone that has ever had their scoob over there on TT week will know the difficulty of the course and trying to remember the corners is a mind fcuk!!
the ring is a piece of cake compared to a maximum attack lap of the TT, with no margin for error.

last time i was there in 08, i saw 6500rpm in 6th for a decent stretch over the mountain.................... :shock2:
it was both fantastic and frightening at the same time.road over the mountain is one way on TT week so it helped :icon_biggrin:

I'm trying to organise an away trip to the isle of man for later in the year with friends on another forum

Awaiting prices etc at the moment but it seems fairly expensive at the moment

The TT races will have prices sky high, it's the same every year.
if your booking a trip over try to book off season

Looking for prices late august - mid September
Less traffic on the island
More fun to be had in safer road conditions

I think the Manx rally is around then? If so you will pay
Top dollar too.
TT week is best to go.the mountain is one way only for it.
So up early and do a few laps at full tilt :icon_biggrin:
