as above guys was chatting to a mate earlier he was telling me his da was down the bog yesterday near rochfortbridge and when he went back to the car he noticed the reg plates had been lifted,he rang the guards but all they could do was take the reg number and put it on record
the car is a citroen c5 and the reg is 01oy2200,if anyone sees a car driving around with a this number which obviously isn't his car ring the guards asap or pm me as his da is a bit worried as to what is going on
cheers

most likely been used to transport a stolen car or similar model , or as false plates for a robbery / drugs transport

one of the managers cars in work was stolen but recovered quickly (due to tracker) and the guards were saying to him that the above is the most common reason for the plates been lifted ,

had thought that myself tommy but was asked to post it on the off chance that someone seen it,seems to be happening a bit too often tommy

stop , was 3 cars lifted around the managers house that night ,his was the only one recovered due to the tracker ,

there's a lot to be said for a tracker all the same, one of the lads was telling me there was a civic lifted in kilcock or maynooth last night or friday night
you can have nothing these days

Auld fella has ordered it for me so dunno how much it costs as of now but will have to get it fitted then also and auto electricians aint cheap , but will let ya know when I know

Both plates were taken off my STi there last year (should be an old thread about it). Taken while it was parked outside top of Stephens Green on a Saturday in the middle of the day. Car was only there for less than an hour. But sure that's what you get for parking near inner city scumbag flats which are near there. Now of course if I do anything wrong the guards in car computer flashes up my plates as stolen so first thing they ask for is licence to see if licence matches registered name .ie. i have to prove my own plates are mine all the time!

Oh and get the more secure registration plate screws in Halfords. Stops scumbags with just a screwdriver getting them off easily.
