Maxol again.

Two nearest Maxol stations to me have changed the stickers on there pumps.
On enquiry I was told at the first that its all E5 now mate
and the second rather rude lady just snorted they don't make it anymore.
Anybody really know whats goin on.
Both my classics are mapped for E5.
 
Every maxol I go to has e5 on pumps but ciaran asd automotive was just telling me the maxol in tallaght got best stuff and he would know as has tested a good few stations for quality...
 
I would need a full tank to get there. Im in laois mate
and that's the story with my nearest Maxols.
 
Yea thats not going to work ha bloody anoying alrite my car was filled in maxol clontarf before mapping ciaran said it wasnt great fuel there and all pumps there marked e5 bloody anoying
 
Noely bradys at the top square is E5
Brackens beside the graveyard never done E5
It's probably all e5 but bracken maxol never had the little E5 stickers on the pumps
 
Yes it is but Guarantee some one on here has emailed maxol for a official answer...

Gabby was the first quote Tom the other Maxol was in port.
That's why I put it up Ciaran theres been a lot of treads.
Was thinking some of the lads on here would nail that down sharpish.
 
I would have thought all maxols in a particular area are the same because they all get there fuel delivered via tanker from the depot? How could a maxol in tallaght be better than say a maxol in lucan. Surely the fuel delivered to both comes from the same source?
 
If would, if all be actually selling Maxol fuel to start with... seen plenty of Maxol branded stations get deliveries from other branded transporters (like Emo for example). Part of the reason for the current effort of updating the signage is to better show who is actually still a Maxol and who is just an "independent" who still carries Maxol branding.
 
Yea I thought fill up in "new" maxol garage would be a good way to guarantee quality however one I used last was a brand new garage in clontarf and wasnt great when tested while mapping so impossible to judge on that basis

That leaves two options if you want to be sure:
a) get (re)map for RON95
b) get booster like NF

BTW... I have a couple of bottles of NF Street (+3 RON) left from before I got mine mapped a few weeks ago, so if anyone is interested let me know.
